Xiaomi 14 Ultra: The Ultimate Flagship Smartphone with a 1-inch Camera Sensor

Xiaomi, one of the leading smartphone brands in the world, is set to launch its most powerful and premium device yet, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in March. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will join the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, which were unveiled in October 2023, as the top-of-the-line model in the flagship series.


The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, LTPO technology, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and 3000 nits peak brightness. The display will also have an under-display fingerprint scanner and a 32MP selfie camera. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is based on a 4nm process and offers a 20% performance boost over the previous generation. The phone will also have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.



The main highlight of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be its quad rear camera system, which will feature a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 sensor with 50MP resolution, f/1.6 aperture, dual pixel PDAF, laser AF, and OIS. This will be the largest camera sensor ever used in a smartphone, surpassing the 1/1.12-inch sensor of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The camera will also support 8K video recording at 24fps with HDR, 4K video recording at 60fps with HDR10+, 10-bit Dolby Vision HDR, and 10-bit LOG. The other cameras will include a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide lens with 115-degree field of view, and a 3D ToF sensor. The camera system will also have Leica lens and dual-LED dual-tone flash.


The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will pack a 5,500mAh battery, which is a 500mAh increase over the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The phone will support 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The phone will also have IP68 dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio, Snapdragon Sound, Wi-Fi 6E/7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared port, and USB Type-C 3.2 port. The phone will run on Android 14 with HyperOS skin on top.








The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in four colors: Black, Silver, Pink, and Green. The pricing and availability details are yet to be announced, but the phone is expected to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which is also rumored to launch at MWC 2024. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be the ultimate flagship smartphone for those who want the best performance, display, and camera in the market.
